This information outlines the wires location, color and polarity to help you identify the proper connection spots in the vehicle. Please be sure to test all of your wires with a digital multimeter before making any connections.More information on using a multimeter and testing wires please see our Technical Support Area.
![]() These are combo modules that bypass the Anti-theft and enable the use of keyless entry without adding relays. To make a keyless entry system work you can create the circuit above using (2) 778 realys but its recommended to use the XK09 or DB-ALL. NOTE 2 the YELLOW Parking light wire will require a (-) Negative thru a 1300 Ohm resistor and a extra relay part 775, to connect, See DIAGRAM. NOTE 3 this vehicle has 4 Door trigger input wires, the DRIVERS DOOR is a TANRED (-) at the DRIVERS DOOR LOCK SWITCH, the PASSENGER DOOR is a TANRED (-) at the PASSENGER DOOR LOCK SWITCH, the DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a TANORANGE (-) and the PASSENGER REAR DOOR is a TANYELLOW (-) both are at the BCM (Body Control Module), when connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM you must BOTH DOOR TRIGGER wires and DIODE ISOLATE, to connect, See DIAGRAM. NOTE 4 on the 4.7L engine, go to any coil and use any wire that is NOT DARK GREENORANGE. On the 4.0L engine, use any wire with a TAN STRIPE at the coil pack. NOTE 5 to DISARM the FACTORY ALARM SYSTREM requires a (-) NEGATIVE thru a 463 Ohm Resistor and an extra relay part 775, to connect, See DIAGRAM. NOTE the BCM (Body Control Module) is located above the DIAGNOSTIC PLUG under the dash.
